2. General information on data processing

We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website and our content and services. The legal bases are Art. 6 (1) (a) (consent), (b) (contract or pre-contractual measures) and (f) (legitimate interest) GDPR.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you access the site, information is automatically stored in server log files: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL. This data serves to ensure trouble-free and secure operation (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS. Further information: IONOS privacy policy. Log files are deleted after eight weeks at the latest.

4. Contact form and email contact

If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the details you provide (name, email address, company, message) in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, for other enquiries Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The data is deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with conclusively and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Data entered in the contact form is transmitted encrypted (TLS) to our web server at IONOS and forwarded from there to us by email. The form contents are not stored on the web server.

To protect the form against automated misuse (spam), we check technical characteristics of the request when it is submitted – for example whether the form was loaded in a browser and whether the sender domain can receive email – and we limit the number of requests per hour. For this purpose we store a pseudonymised hash value of your IP address for a maximum of one hour; the IP address itself is not stored. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (protection against misuse). No external services and no cookies are used.

5. Cookies and web analytics

This website does not set any cookies that require consent. No tracking or marketing cookies are used.

For reach measurement we use IONOS WebAnalytics, a service of IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. The evaluation is based exclusively on the server log files (section 3). No cookies are set and no data is stored on your device; the IP address is anonymised before evaluation. Data collected includes pages visited, referrer, browser, operating system, screen resolution and the approximate location at country level. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the statistical evaluation and improvement of our website. Processing takes place within the scope of data processing by IONOS on our behalf.

6. Fonts

The font used (Manrope) is stored locally on our server. Loading the font does not establish a connection to third-party servers, in particular not to Google Fonts.

7. Images and videos

All images and videos are stored on our own server at IONOS. No content is loaded from third-party servers. The photos and videos used come from Pexels and are used under the Pexels licence.

8. External links and social networks

Links to LinkedIn and other external services are plain references. When you click them, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies. No social media plugins that transmit data when the page is loaded are embedded.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular with the authority responsible for our registered office: Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für Datenschutz Schleswig-Holstein (ULD), Kiel, Germany.
